SV Austria Salzburg drops points for the first time this ADMIRAL 2. Liga season on Saturday. They suffered a 1:3 defeat away to the Young Violets on Matchday 3.

The Salzburg team were the more incisive side at the start of the match. Christin Gebauer missed a good chance from a promising shooting position after a corner, but didn't hit the ball ideally.

Polonkai and Toifl Celebrate

The Young Violets did better, striking clinically in front of the opponent's goal: Noel Polonkai first scored with a magnificent long-range shot from 25 meters to make it 1:0 for the Violets (10').

The Young Violets then coolly defended their lead until the final whistle. In the fourth minute of injury time, Salzburg's Raphael Hofer also received an unnecessary yellow-red card after a foul on the sidelines.
