Michelle Gisin's decision about her future in the Ski World Cup has likely been made.

Last winter, the all-rounder suffered a serious crash during downhill training in St. Moritz. Since then, she has been fighting her way back from an ACL tear and cervical spine injuries.

In the summer, Gisin spoke about there being three options for the future: a return at the home World Championships in Crans Montana, a comeback in the winter of 2027/28, or retirement.

Press Conference on Tuesday

The 32-year-old has now scheduled a press conference for next Tuesday. This follows insightful days on snow, as Swiss-Ski writes in a media release.

Gisin has always said she would only make her decision once she was back on skis.

On Instagram, the Swiss ski ace appears happy, but whether she will compete for another season will only become clear in the coming days. The press conference and the availability for questions afterward, however, rather point to a retirement, as the Swiss medium "blick.ch" writes.

Gisin can certainly look back on a successful career: almost 300 World Cup starts, 22 podium finishes, two World Cup victories, two World Championship medals, and three Olympic medals.
