Just a White Ribbon: But Green Light for Levi
The snow control for the second World Cup stop of the winter has returned a positive result. Nevertheless, the current images from Levi fail to create a winter atmosphere.
Green light for the second race weekend of the 2026/27 Ski World Cup season.
The snow control in Levi, Finland, was successful, as FIS announced on Thursday. This means nothing stands in the way of the first women's and men's slaloms on November 14 and 15.
Just a day ago, the organizers posted a recent video of the World Cup course on Instagram, which doesn't really evoke a winter atmosphere, though.
All that can be seen is a single white ribbon winding down an otherwise brown mountain. Snow groomers are still hard at work.
