Over 1.3 Million Dollars Donated for US Skiers
A record sum was raised at the annual Stifel fundraising gala in St. Louis.
This year, the eleventh Stifel fundraising gala took place in St. Louis - the goal of this annual charity event is to raise money for US skiers for the winter season.
This year's edition of the event was extremely successful. A new record sum of 1.35 million US dollars was raised.
US ski star Mikaela Shiffrin is also personally involved every year. "I feel honored and privileged to have been a part of it every year since the beginning. This support is extremely valuable for our entire team," Shiffrin thanked initiator Ron Kruszewski and main sponsor Stifel on Instagram.
In fact, the US Ski Team has been able to raise around ten million US dollars through this fundraising gala over the past eleven years.
