Cincinnati: Tagger and Kraus make it into the main draw!
The ÖTV duo prevails in the second round of qualifying for the main draw of the 2026 Cincinnati Open.
Lilli Tagger and Sinja Kraus advance to the main draw of the WTA 1000 tournament in Cincinnati.
Tagger, from East Tyrol, defeated Robin Montgomery (USA) 6:3, 6:1 on Wednesday night (CET). Montgomery had previously beaten Julia Grabher in the first qualifying round.
Sinja Kraus also defeated American Claire Liu (WTA-116) in straight sets, 6:4, 6:3.
