Tennis Today: Lilli Tagger - Venus Williams in Guangzhou
In Guangzhou, the 18-year-old faces a true tennis legend. Live info:
Tough draw for Lilli Tagger to kick off the WTA 250 tournament in Guangzhou!
The 18-year-old will face tennis legend Venus Williams on Tuesday morning (CET) (from approximately 10 AM in the LIVE ticker >>>).
Although the ÖTV talent (WTA-53) is clearly ahead of the 46-year-old (WTA-599) in the world rankings, Williams is by no means to be underestimated with her experience, 49 career titles, and seven Grand Slam victories.
The American has competed in 12 singles tournaments this calendar year, failing in the first round of each.
