One-sided! Chiefs suffer first NFL defeat
Led by Smith-Njigba and the defense, the Seahawks celebrate a crucial victory after two recent defeats. Across the NFL, only one team remains undefeated.
And then there was only one! The Kansas City Chiefs lose to the Seattle Seahawks 3-20, leaving the Minnesota Vikings as the only undefeated team after NFL Week 7. Previously, the San Francisco 49ers lost to the Atlanta Falcons 20-29.
The keys to the victory are the defense's performance and Jaxon Smith-Njigba's: The wide receiver records 150 receiving yards and one touchdown. He leads the NFL in catches, receiving yards, and receiving scores.
In the first half alone, he put up better stats than the entire Chiefs offense. The fact that Harrison Butker missed two of his three field goal attempts also didn't help Kansas City.
Patrick Mahomes only threw for 165 yards and recorded 14 incompletions from 33 attempts, including one interception.
