Vienna Vikings Reach AFLE Final!
With an absolute show of force against the London Warriors, the Vikings storm into their first AFLE Final.
The Vienna Vikings won the AFLE semi-final against the London Warriors at the Wiener Sport-Club Stadium with a score of 71:34, securing their ticket to the Gold Bowl.
In front of 4,561 fans who brought the Wiener Sport-Club Stadium to a boil, the Vikings ignited an offensive fireworks display from the start. By halftime, the Viennese held a 55:20 lead.
Quarterback Holmes Shines
The standout player was Quarterback Ben Holmes. The Viennese playcaller had already thrown seven touchdown passes and accumulated over 300 passing yards by this point.
His star receivers Haun, Mayr, and Stewart Jr., as well as tight end Seikovits, were also nearly unstoppable for the London defense. The Vikings controlled the game and confidently secured their spot in the final.

The Viennese's opponent in the Gold Bowl will be determined on Sunday, when the Wroclaw Panthers duel Rhein Fire in Germany.
Thus, the Vienna Vikings will vie for their first AFLE crown on September 6, 2026, at the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena in Duisburg.
