Remco Evenepoel wins his first non-time trial stage at the Tour de France.

The Belgian Olympic champion leaves Tadej Pogacar behind in the sprint finish on the 15th stage from Champagnole, which featured a mountain finish on the Plateau de Solaison.

Following Jonas Vingegaard's withdrawal due to a severe crash, the 26-year-old is the new overall second-placed rider, exactly five minutes behind.

Behind Evenepoel and Pogacar, Isaac Del Toro, the Slovenian's UAE teammate, crosses the finish line. The Mexican winner of the second stage was previously involved in the Vingegaard crash, and he is the new third-placed rider in the general classification.

On Monday, the cycling stars rest, and the Tour de France continues on Tuesday with a time trial from Evian-les-Bains to Thonon-les-Bains. There, Evenepoel is likely to be the big favourite for the stage win in the race against the clock.
