World Champion Lando Norris Launches Own Racing Team
The Briton aims to enter important European junior series as early as next year.
Lando Norris is founding his own racing team!
As announced on Wednesday, the team, named "LN4 Fusion", is set to start competing as early as 2027. The name originated from the collaboration between Norris and the British karting team Fusion Motorsport.
As early as next year, LN4 Fusion is planned to be represented in Formula 3, the European Formula Regional (FRECA), as well as the British and Italian Formula 4 series.
Furthermore, an entry into Formula 2 is also planned.
Top-Caliber Personnel and Junior Programme
The team's headquarters are located in Veneto (Italy). Rene Rosin, a highly successful and renowned team principal in motorsport, has been brought on board. As the long-standing team principal of Prema Racing, Rosin notably developed Charles Leclerc, who became a Formula 2 champion and is now a regular Ferrari driver.
Guillaume Capietto, former technical director of Prema, has been appointed as Racing Director. Dan Richards will serve as CEO, while Fusion boss Dan Hazlewood will act as head of the British F4 and the testing programme in the UK.
With the "LN4 Legacy Programme", the reigning Formula 1 World Champion is also establishing a junior programme aimed at supporting promising talents on their expensive journey to the top. Former Alpine Sporting Director Julian Rouse is set to take the lead here.

The Briton explains: "I've been fortunate enough to have great people around me throughout my career, and I know it takes far more than just talent to make it to Formula 1."
Norris continues: "You need the right people by your side, the right support, and the right opportunities at the right time. That's exactly what these two projects are all about."
Norris: "LN4 Fusion is about building a racing team that can compete with the best in junior motorsport – with great people and an excellent environment for drivers to develop. The LN4 Legacy Programme aims to open doors for talented young drivers who might not otherwise have had those opportunities."
