Formula 1 World Champion Norris extends with McLaren
The 26-year-old signs a new contract until the end of 2030.
Lando Norris will remain with McLaren until at least the end of 2030!
The reigning world champion, who was the fastest at both the Hungarian Grand Prix and in the Netherlands, also has the option for a multi-year extension.
"McLaren is my home, and I am delighted to have signed a new contract. When I started this journey nine years ago, I had clear ideas about the goals I wanted to achieve: to bring McLaren back to the top and win championships," Norris explained at a staff event.
This goal has been achieved, and now they want more. Norris's next chance for a win is already on September 6 in Monza (ITA).
Currently, the McLaren driver is in fourth place in the World Championship, with Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli leading.
