Norris beats the "Silver Arrows" in Zandvoort qualifying!
The Brit can celebrate in qualifying in the Netherlands after his victory in Hungary before the summer break. Russell and Antonelli finish behind the world champion.

Lando Norris claims pole position in qualifying for the Dutch Grand Prix. Last season's champion secures the best starting position ahead of George Russell and championship leader Kimi Antonelli (both Mercedes).
Tsunoda misses Q3 on comeback
Hadjar's wrist injury also led to a comeback for former regular driver Yuki Tsunoda at Racing Bulls. However, the Japanese driver failed to progress from Q2, finishing P12.
Pierre Gasly (11th/Alpine), Nico Hülkenberg (13th/Haas), Franco Colapinto (14th/Alpine), Esteban Ocon (15th/Haas), and Alexander Albon (16th/Williams) also failed to make it into Q3.
Furthermore, there were no surprises in Q1. Carlos Sainz (Williams/17th) narrowly failed in a direct duel against Albon. Behind them, Aston Martin drivers Fernando Alonso (18th) and Lance Stroll (19th) finished. Oliver Bearman (20th/Haas) was also eliminated early, along with Valtteri Bottas (21st) and Sergio Perez (22nd/both Cadillac).
The main race in Zandvoort will now follow on Sunday (from 3:00 PM in the LIVE ticker <<<). It will be the last Dutch Grand Prix for some time.
