At the last Grand Prix just three weeks ago in Hungary, reigning world champion Lando Norris won ahead of four-time world champion Max Verstappen and championship leader Kimi Antonelli.
The Italian Mercedes driver continues to lead the World Championship driver standings (219 points) ahead of first challenger Lewis Hamilton in the Ferrari (169 points). Behind him, Mercedes teammate George Russell lurks with 160 points.
In Sprint Qualifying on Friday, Russell set the fastest time. The Brit will therefore start from pole. Behind him, Norris and Charles Leclerc lurk.
