Antonelli with fastest time in sole Zandvoort practice
The championship leader finishes the only free practice session in the Netherlands in first place. Sprint Qualifying is scheduled for the afternoon.
Fastest time for Kimi Antonelli in free practice in Zandvoort!
The championship leader set the fastest time on Friday afternoon in his Mercedes, ahead of Lando Norris in the McLaren (+0.121) and teammate and championship challenger George Russell (+0.125).
Behind them were the Ferrari duo Lewis Hamilton (+0.190) and Charles Leclerc (+0.289). Oscar Piastri finished sixth in the second McLaren, already more than half a second adrift.
Red Bull not in the Top Ten
Max Verstappen, whose extension with Red Bull Racing was only announced on Thursday, and his teammate Liam Lawson, who is replacing the injured Isack Hadjar, finished outside the top ten.
