George Russell will attack the 15th race of the season from pole position. The Brit secured first place on the grid with a phenomenal time in qualifying.
Behind him, Charles Leclerc and Oscar Piastri finished with a respectful distance.

Championship leader Kimi Antonelli had a miserable day, crashing his car into the wall already in Q1, and is therefore once again reliant on a comeback drive.
In the championship standings, Antonelli still holds a very comfortable lead after his victory in Madrid. He is now 81 points ahead of his teammate Russell.
