Formula 1 today: The race in Mexico
Kimi Antonelli only needs a couple of points to be crowned World Champion on Sunday. LIVE updates:
A new Formula 1 World Champion could be crowned on Sunday at the Mexican Grand Prix. Kimi Antonelli has the chance to secure his first title (from 9:00 PM in the LIVE ticker >>>).
All the Italian needs on Sunday is ninth place to clinch his first World Championship title. Alternatively, it would also be enough if neither George Russell nor Lewis Hamilton win the race.
However, both showed strong form in Saturday's qualifying: Hamilton secured pole position ahead of Russell, while Antonelli "only" managed fifth place.

Either way, Antonelli still has plenty of chances this year to secure the inevitable World Championship title. After the Grand Prix in Mexico City, four more races remain in the season.
