Alpine Continues to Rely on Franco Colapinto
Like Williams, the French team also relies on continuity, heading into the 2027 season with the same driver pairing.
Franco Colapinto will also race for Alpine next year.
The French Formula 1 team made this official on Thursday. This means they are sticking with the same driver pairing for the third consecutive year – Colapinto took over Jack Doohan's cockpit in 2025 after six races.
His teammate Pierre Gasly's contract was already extended in 2025 until the end of 2028.
After a mixed first season, the Argentinian has already recorded six points finishes this year.
