Will there be a turnaround in the chase for former ÖFB talent Ermin Mahmic?

Ermin Mahmic (21) made an impression at the World Cup in the Bosnia & Herzegovina jersey, scoring two goals in three games.
The Wels native could have worn the ÖFB jersey, as the Slovan Liberec player still featured for the Austrian U21 team in March.

Greeks step in
However, there is new interest from Greece. PAOK Saloniki wants to sign the former LASK youth player. The Greeks could make the poker even more interesting, and FC Red Bull Salzburg was also linked for a while.
Mahmic moved from the Rapid youth academy to Lafnitz in the ADMIRAL 2. Liga in 2023, and last summer he made the leap from there to the Czech top flight with Slovan Liberec.
