Treacherous, dirty, overly physical – Andy Ogris rages over the playing style of former world champion Argentina.
"Even Lionel Messi adopted the exaggerated toughness and disrespect of his teammates in the final. It was just a good thing the Argentines didn't get away with their shabby play. I am happy, like all football fans I know, that in the end Spain won the title," says the 63-cap international.
At the Stammtisch with Andy Ogris - moderated by LAOLA1 editor-in-chief Peter Rietzler - Adi Niederkorn also talks about the performance of the Austrians, the incredible dominance of the Spaniards, and the conditions of the mega World Cup in the USA.
Both also discuss the start of the season in Austria, Sturm Graz's strong opening, and how the ÖFB squad will proceed without Arnautovic.
Why former Ö3 sports director Adi Niederkorn is hugely happy for Sasa Kalajdzic, and why Andy Ogris currently considers Rodri the best player in the world, and he sees Austria's future with a strong David Alaba, are all revealed by the two in the 192nd episode of the LAOLA1-Stammtisch presented by ImmoScout24 (Video and Podcast).
