Things continue to go poorly for Marco Rossi and the Vancouver Canucks in the NHL.
The bottom team in the Western Conference suffered a 6-2 defeat at the Winnipeg Jets. For the Canucks, it is already their fourth consecutive loss and their 15th in 18 games this season.
The Jets take an early lead, with Iafallo scoring on the power play in the fourth minute. Koepke (5th) and Mercer (15th) extend the lead, while Ohgren makes it 3-1 in the interim (7th), with Vorarlberg native Marco Rossi providing the assist.
The hosts seal the win in the second period as Pionk (27th) and Scheifele (32nd) score, before Ferraro adds a sixth goal in the 52nd minute. Boeser (56th) adds a late consolation goal, while Rossi (logging 13:39 of ice time in total) takes a two-minute penalty for tripping in the closing stages.
Red Wings also lose
Marco Kasper's team, the Detroit Red Wings, also suffer a defeat, falling 2-1 to the Vegas Golden Knights.
Johansson even gave the Red Wings the lead (42nd), but Bowman (45th) and Conelly (59th) turn the game around. Kasper himself remains sidelined due to injury.
