Reinbacher Scores Immediately in AHL Comeback
The ÖEHV defenseman makes an impressive return after being reassigned from the NHL.
David Reinbacher makes his mark upon his return to the American Hockey League (AHL)!
The 21-year-old from Vorarlberg scored a goal in his Laval Rocket's 5-1 home win against the Syracuse Crunch on Wednesday night.
Reinbacher capped off the scoring in the 58th minute with the goal for the 5-1 final score. For the defenseman, it is his first goal of the current AHL season.
Just on Wednesday, the Montreal Canadiens had once again sent the ÖEHV legionary to their farm team. Previously, Reinbacher had made his third NHL appearance last Saturday in the 4-3 overtime victory against the Buffalo Sabres, playing 9:09 minutes on the ice.
In the AHL, the ÖEHV legionary is now immediately back in goal-scoring form. Prior to his temporary NHL promotion, Reinbacher had already collected two assists in four season games.
