ÖEHV-Legionnaires in Scoring Mood
In both Munich and Switzerland, the ÖEHV-Legionnaires are scoring at an impressive rate.
A successful Friday evening for Austria's ice hockey legionnaires!
In the Swiss National League, Dominic Zwerger and Fabio Hofer managed to get on the scoresheet, significantly contributing to the 4-2 victory against Kloten.
Biel started the game dominantly and, after an early 1-0 lead by Cajka, doubled their advantage through Zwerger in the 13th minute. He scored his sixth goal of the season.
In the second period, Biel continued with offensive pressure and scored the 3-0, before Hofer netted the 4-0 just seconds later with his fifth goal of the season (12.). Kloten could then only manage to narrow the score to 4-2.
Points also for Rohrer and Thaler
Vinzenz Rohrer also entered the list of scorers. The 22-year-old contributed an assist for Zug's temporary 3-1 lead in their 3-2 victory.
In the German Ice Hockey League, ÖEHV legionnaire Lucas Thaler also made his mark on the scoreboard. Although he lost 2-4 with Red Bull Munich against the Straubing Tigers, he scored his fourth goal of the season shortly before the final whistle.
