Unai Simón concedes the first goal of the tournament in the 2026 World Cup quarter-final against Belgium – Charles De Ketelaere beats him in the 41st minute for the 1-1 equalizer. It is also a historic goal conceded!

The Athletic Bilbao keeper remained 649 minutes in Spain's goal at a World Cup without conceding – that's a record. Italy's keeper Walter Zenga had set the previous best mark in 1990, not conceding a goal for 517 minutes.
