SK Rapid Women secure their second season victory.
The Hütteldorf side win 1-0 against SpG Südburgenland/TSV Hartberg. Sophie Hoke scores the decisive goal for the Viennese team after almost an hour.
The hosts start the game well, Lisa Rammel misses the first clear chance after seven minutes, and shortly after, Sophia Zöger is denied by Dora Schvirjan (12').
Against deep-sitting visitors, the Green-Whites create a significant advantage in chances, but fail to find the net before the break. Lana Khalaf tests Schvirjan just before halftime (40'), and a cross from Lisa Rammel only hits the post (43').
Hoke heads in the decisive goal
The Viennese side remain in control even after the break, but Zöger's shot does not find the back of the net immediately after the restart (47').
After almost an hour, however, the deadlock is broken, as Hoke heads in to make it 1-0 (57').
While the defence allows hardly any chances for the visitors, the Rapid women still create a few more opportunities, which however remain unused.
With this, the Hütteldorf side provisionally move past First Vienna FC again and are now in seventh place in the table. Südburgenland/Hartberg remains two points ahead of FC Blau-Weiß Linz/Union Kleinmünchen in ninth place.
