LASK Amateure Win Regionalliga Derby Against Ried
The Linz side inflict the first league defeat on the Innviertel team. Austria Klagenfurt engages in a heated duel against Bleiburg.
LASK Amateure OÖ prevailed 3-1 against the Young Vikings from Ried in the Regionalliga North derby on matchday 5.
Spiegl gave Ried an early lead (3'), before goals from Kane (58'), Augustus (74') and Perovic (90'+2) turned the game in favour of the Linz team. LASK Amateure are now 7th in the table. The Innviertel side suffers their first league defeat and are second.
SV Grödig occupies fourth place in the table after a 1-0 home win against Union Gurten. The Upper Austrians are fifth.
Two Red Cards in Bleiburg
In the Regionalliga Süd Kärnten, SVG Bleiburg and SK Austria Klagenfurt engage in a heated duel.
Klagenfurt scored the winning goal in the 87th minute to make it 4-3. After the final whistle, a scuffle apparently broke out. As a result, Pök (Bleiburg) and Kalajdzic (Klagenfurt) were both shown red cards.
In Styria, SV Lafnitz had to concede a 1-3 defeat against SV St. Nikolai Tillmitsch.
In the East, Mattersburger SV won 2-0 against Scheiblingkirchen-Warth. Parndorf also succeeded with a 2-0 victory, as the Burgenland side beat Gloggnitz. In the West, Kufstein lost 1-3 at home against Fügen.
