Real Madrid is now taking action against a journalist with a public statement.

"Our club believes that comparing Real Madrid's official media organ with a newspaper whose history is linked to the environment of the terrorist group ETA represents an extremely serious act that crosses all boundaries," Real now writes.

The channel reserves the right to inform and defend members and fans in the club's interest. "Real Madrid reserves the right to take all measures it deems appropriate in the face of this completely unacceptable attack," the statement concludes.
