Record Transfer Confirmed! Diomande Moves to Real Madrid
Leipzig makes top talent a record sale after just one year. The Ivorian could also become a record signing for the "Royal Whites".
After lengthy negotiations, Yan Diomande's (19) move to Real Madrid is now official.
The Ivorian leaves RB Leipzig after just one season for a transfer fee of 125 million Euros. With potential bonuses, the transfer sum could rise to 140 million Euros. "Sky" reports this.
Regardless, Diomande is thus the most expensive departure in Leipzig's history. And at the "Royal Whites" too, he is close to the transfer record; only Jude Bellingham (127 million Euros from Dortmund) was more expensive.
Diomande signs a seven-year contract with Real until 2033.
