Real Madrid has started the season perfectly under Jose Mourinho.

After three games and three wins, they are at the top of the table. Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé are excelling. And yet, the focus in Madrid is on new signing Yan Diomande.

The Ivorian joined the Madrid club from RB Leipzig a few weeks ago for 125 million Euros. His Portuguese coach Mourinho is calming the media.

"Relax!"

At the press conference after the victory against Malaga, journalists asked the star coach about the young winger. In the three league matches so far, the 19-year-old has only made three brief appearances.

"Relax! When he arrived in Madrid, he lacked the fitness base from his previous club. Yan didn't do any pre-season training at Leipzig," explained Mourinho.

"How much did we pay? Over 100 million Euros? I can't look at that. He is still young and naive, but he has incredible potential," said the Portuguese.

Diomande's next chance for a starting XI appearance will be on Friday in the match in Seville against Real Betis.
