Bad News for Ndukwe? Levante Signs New Defender

Austrian talent Ifeanyi Ndukwe faces increased competition in central defense.

As both clubs confirm, Axel Tape (19) moves on loan from Bayer 04 Leverkusen to UD Levante. The four-time France U19 international was loaned out with the prospect of more playing time.

At "Werkself", he made six appearances in the German Bundesliga (221 minutes). Additionally, he had already gained 42 minutes of Champions League experience.

In addition to Ndukwe and Tape, Levante has three other central defenders in its squad. The Austrian is still awaiting his debut for the Spanish top-flight club. He also remained on the bench for 90 minutes against Real Betis.
