Real Madrid beat FC Barcelona 2-1 in El Clasico on LaLiga's matchday 10.

Both teams started cautiously in the opening phase. Neither side took significant risks, especially when in possession.

Gordon created Barca's first dangerous chance with a shot that was too central (7'). A similar attempt followed from Güler for Real (18').

Mbappe Puts Real Ahead

Mbappe was unleashed for the first time in the 33rd minute. Güler delivered a superb outside-of-the-boot cross, and the Frenchman attempted an overhead kick, but his effort went over the bar.

However, he succeeded on his second attempt. Diomande was sent down the left flank and delivered a sharp low cross into the middle. Martin attempted to clear but inadvertently deflected the ball off Mbappe's knee, and it ricocheted into the net for Real's 1-0 lead (41').

Yamal Has the Reply

Moments later, Yamal should have equalized for Barca. Fermin set up the winger, and Yamal had a completely open shot from eight meters, but he sent the ball well wide of the goal (44').

Before halftime, Diomande had a golden opportunity to extend the lead. Güler played a perfectly weighted through ball into the path of the new signing. Diomande ran clear on goal but struck the ball into the side netting (45'+2).

Raphinha Levels the Score

Barca emerged from the dressing room stronger after the break. Flick's side took a quick corner, and Raphinha found himself with a free shot inside the box, which he emphatically converted to make it 1-1 (61').

Just four minutes later, Lunin preserved the draw with a world-class save. Martin met a corner with a header, but the Ukrainian goalkeeper clawed the ball off the line (65').

Yamal then also had a big chance to take the lead. After a feint, he shot from the edge of the penalty area, but his effort went just wide of the right post (78').

Mbappe Decides Top Clash

Then came Camavinga's moment: Bellingham sent the Frenchman deep, who bypassed Martin and squared the ball to Mbappe in the middle. Garcia had come off his line, leaving the superstar with an open net to slot home for 2-1 (88').

Real thus closes to within three points of Barcelona in the league. For the Catalans, it marks their first defeat of the season.
