Just 13 days after his brother Peter, Robert Zulj is also leaving Buriram United.

The 34-year-old announced this on Wednesday via "Instagram". "Another great chapter comes to an end," he began his farewell post.

Robert Zulj followed his brother to Thailand. Six months after Peter joined Buriram, he arrived from LASK on a free transfer. Together, they won the double in Southeast Asia.

"The best year of my football career"

For the former Ried and LASK player, it was a "chapter full of dreams come true, trophies, emotions and beautiful memories."

Two weeks ago, Robert Zulj already expressed his emotions under his brother's Instagram post: "Standing on the pitch with you day after day has been our dream since we started playing football. Our dream has come true. This was definitely the best year of my football career."

It is not yet clear which club the Zulj brothers will play for in the future – whether together or separately.

This means there is now only one Austrian Legionary left in Thailand's first division, Osarenren Okungbowa (32). The central defender has previously played for clubs including WSG Tirol, Rapid II, and FAC.
