Ex-Schalke coach dismissed: Serie A club pulls the plug
The Italian has to leave after only four matchdays in Serie A. After one draw and three defeats, the former Belgium national team coach is already history.
Domenico Tedesco has been relieved of his duties at FC Bologna in Serie A after four matchdays.
Bologna started the Italian league season with one draw and three defeats. Tedesco, who was only introduced as the new head coach in June, now has to leave again.
The traditional Italian club announced this on Wednesday. Raffaele Palladino will take over his position, signing a contract until June 2029. He coached Atalanta Bergamo last season.
The 41-year-old has coached, among others, the Belgium national team, Schalke 04, RB Leipzig, and Fenerbahce Istanbul. His biggest success to date was winning the DFB-Pokal in 2021/22 with RB Leipzig.
