Superstar Lionel Messi has notched his 20th goal of the season in Major League Soccer, but Inter Miami is now winless in four consecutive matches.
The eight-time Ballon d'Or winner scored against San Diego FC in the 24th minute, converting a direct free-kick to level the score at 1-1. According to "transfermarkt" data, it was his 75th direct free-kick goal in his competitive career.
Luis Suárez put Miami up 2-1 in the 74th minute, but a second goal from Anders Dreyer ensured a 2-2 draw for the visitors. Miami is currently third in the Eastern Conference, behind Nashville and New England.
