The former Salzburg player is on the verge of a move to FC Barcelona. His current employer has now confirmed this.
Karim Adeyemi's move to FC Barcelona is in its final stages!
As announced by his current employer Borussia Dortmund on Sunday during the season opener, the attacking player has been officially granted leave for contract negotiations.
High Sell-On Clause
According to consistent media reports, all parties have now agreed on a transfer. BVB will reportedly receive around 22 million Euros in transfer fees, with potential bonuses of seven to nine million Euros still to be added.
In addition, the German Bundesliga club secured a high 35 percent sell-on clause.
Previously Cost 30 Million Euros
Adeyemi himself is expected to sign a five-year contract in Barcelona. The 24-year-old attacker joined Germany from FC Red Bull Salzburg in the summer of 2022. The "Black and Yellows" once paid 30 million Euros to the "Bulls."
For Dortmund, the former German international made 146 appearances, scoring 36 goals and providing 25 assists.
