FC Barcelona Reportedly Pursuing Ex-Austria Wien Player
The "Blaugrana" reportedly want the 23-year-old as a replacement for Ferran Torres, who is looking to leave.
Ferran Torres' departure from FC Barcelona to Paris St. Germain is on the cards (read more here>>>).
If a report from the Spanish outlet "Sport" is to be believed, the Catalans have reportedly set their sights on a former Austria Wien player as a possible replacement.
Barca Reportedly Enters the Race
Should Torres leave, Fisnik Asllani from TSG Hoffenheim is a hot candidate to succeed him. So far, all indications were that Asllani was heading to Borussia Dortmund.
However, according to German media reports, negotiations have not yet been finalized. The reason for this is said to be interest from Barcelona. According to the report, Asllani's side is delaying negotiations, hoping for an offer from Barcelona.
Former Juve Striker Also an Option
Asllani's contract, which runs until 2029, reportedly includes a release clause of 29 million Euros, which would certainly be affordable for the "Blaugrana" after a Torres sale.
According to "Sport," another option to replace Torres is the unattached Dusan Vlahovic (formerly Juventus Turin).
