It's simply not working out for PSG in Ligue 1 so far!

After the Champions League winners of the past two seasons each salvaged a point in their first two league matches, Enrique's squad suffers a 1-2 defeat in the top match against AS Monaco.

Marquinhos initially pushed the ball into the goal with his chest after half an hour to give them a 1-0 lead at halftime. But the Monégasques struck back with two goals after the break.

Monaco Inflicts First Defeat on PSG After Comeback

The Portuguese Flavio Nazinho with a header (58th minute) and the Belgian Stanis Idumbo (72nd minute) with a shot into the near corner secured the turnaround in favor of Monaco. A final offensive by PSG ended without the hoped-for equalizer.

Thus, after just three matches, the French champions are already seven points behind. Monaco, on the other hand, leads Ligue 1 with a flawless nine-point haul.
