New League Leaders! Bacher's Lyon Win Shorthanded

Felix Bacher and Olympique Lyon are at the top of the French league for the first time.

On the seventh matchday, OL won 2-1 against OGC Nice. Bacher was not in Olympique's starting XI but was substituted on in the 75th minute. At that point, Lyon were leading 2-1 despite being shorthanded.

After Nice took the lead through Wahi (18th minute), Sulc (32nd) and Tessmann (36th) turned the game around within minutes. The entire second half belonged to the visitors.

However, Olympique held on to their lead even with ten men. Wahi's supposed equalizer in the 90+3rd minute was disallowed for offside.
