Wayne Rooney Slams Former Salzburg Player Benjamin Sesko

Wayne Rooney is considered a legend at Manchester United. A former Salzburg player is now active in his position at the "Red Devils". Benjamin Sesko plays as a striker for the club.

However, the Slovenian was recently unavailable for the clash with Fulham. The reason was a shin injury. This disturbs Rooney, as he makes clear in the "Stick to United" podcast.

"Shin? Did he break it? You can hurt your shin, you can take kicks. I bet he also wears those small, silly shin guards," Rooney said.

Rooney Talks About Injections

"If you're playing as a number nine for Manchester United, absolutely have to win a game, and don't play because of a sore shin, then that's a big part of the problem."

The former striker also played through pain in his time. "As long as you're not physically truly unable to play, you play injured. I remember we used to get injections before games and the doctor would put them in our backside," Rooney said.
