Man City: Rodri successor reportedly set
The "Skyblues" are likely to pull off a blockbuster deal in their search for an heir to their playmaker.
Manchester City has reportedly identified a successor for superstar Rodri.
According to consistent media reports, the "Citizens" have reached an agreement with Ayyoub Bouaddi and his management.
The 18-year-old is set to orchestrate the "Skyblues'" midfield in the future - with established midfield veteran Rodri on the verge of a move to Spain.
Bouaddi Pushes for Transfer
Meanwhile, negotiations with LOSC Lille are reportedly still ongoing regarding the financial terms of the deal. The transfer package is expected to amount to around 100 million Euros in total.
The super talent is said to be critical of another season with youth club Lille, with Bouaddi reportedly pushing for a swift conclusion to the deal instead.
The eight-time Morocco international rose to prominence, not least at the World Cup finals in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
The central midfielder made his Ligue 1 debut at the age of 16 years and 20 days, and has since made 96 competitive appearances for Lille.
