How Konate is doing after being stretchered off

FC Salzburg can breathe a sigh of relief!

Karim Konate, one of the "Bulls'" match-winners in their clear victory over Mjällby in the Europa League play-off (Match report>>>), went down around the 70th minute after a dribble and subsequent shot, and ultimately even had to be stretchered off.

The concerns about the brace-scorer afterwards were significant, but can quickly be put to rest. "It was just a cramp," Konate himself updated. He is already expected to be ready for action again on Sunday, in the Bundesliga cracker against Wiener Austria.

He is naturally happy about his goals, but team success was much more important: "When you score, it's always good, but the win is much more important."
