Austrian VAR for Salzburg's opponent
Salzburg's first European opponent will be determined in the match between Hajduk Split and Pafos FC. In the first leg, the VAR duties are in Austrian hands.
FC Salzburg enters the European season in the 3rd qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League. There, they await the winner of the second-round match between Hajduk Split (Croatia) and Pafos FC (Cyprus).
The first leg will take place on Thursday at 21:00 CET, with Austrian involvement.
Irish head referee Rob Harvey will be supported in the VAR booth by Austrians Manuel Schüttengruber and Harald Lechner.
Klauß set for reunion with Austrian referees
In the UEFA Conference League qualifiers, Jakob Semler will officiate Wednesday's match between Bohemian FC (Ireland) and FC Ballkani (Kosovo).
He will be assisted by compatriots Alexander Borucki and Thomas Kaplan. Isa Simek is the fourth official.
Former Rapid coach Robert Klauß can look forward to a reunion with Austrian referees. +Stefan Ebner will officiate the home match of his new club DAC 1904 (Slovakia) against FK Velez Mostar (Bosnia & Herzegovina) in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers. He will be assisted by Martin Höfler and Amina Gutschi. Alain Sadikovski is the fourth official.
