Klopp: Red Bull wants a million euro donation from DFB
The DFB has to pay a transfer fee; Red Bull wants a donation for a foundation of the group.
The DFB continues to try to sign Jürgen Klopp. However, the ex-Liverpool coach is still under contract with Red Bull as Head of Global Soccer.
The Austrian company, however, does not want to let him go for free. According to "Bild", Red Bull wants a transfer fee of one million euros.
The payment is to serve as a donation for its own foundation "Wings for Life".
Ex-Salzburg Coach also joins DFB
Klopp is expected to be unveiled on Friday. With ex-Salzburg coach Pep Lijnders, he would then have an assistant with whom he already worked at FC Liverpool.
Peter Krawietz and former DFB player Sven Bender are also likely to assist. Per Mertesacker is considered a candidate for the position of Sporting Director.
