LASK Attacker Nears Nigeria Debut: "I will give everything!"

Moses Usor (24) from LASK awaits his senior national team debut for Nigeria.

The Austria-based player was called up to the national team as a late replacement for Femi Azeez. The "Super Eagles" currently boast an offense full of superstars.

With Moses Simon (Paris FC), Ademola Lookman (Atletico Madrid), and Samuel Chukwueze (AC Milan), big names are in the squad alongside Usor, despite the absence of Victor Osimhen.

"I have great respect for each and every one of them. My goal is to bring my special strengths – my speed and my determined play – to the table while supporting the team's objectives," Usor told "Footy-Africa".

Regardless of the position, the LASK forward will give everything. "I will represent this nation with honor and dedication. This is just the beginning. With God's blessing, I am determined to make you all proud," Usor stated.

Injury Sidelined Him

The Nigerian was already nominated for the Unity Cup in May, but a meniscus tear prevented his participation.

Now he is with the senior team for the first time. "The injury that kept me from the Unity Cup was incredibly hard to bear – yet I remained committed and optimistic," Usor said.

Now, a childhood dream could come true in the Africa Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau.
