No Chance! Sturm women clearly lose in Wolfsburg
The Graz women suffer a clear defeat against the German Bundesliga club.
The women of SK Sturm Graz have started the second qualifying round of the UEFA Women's Europa Cup with a defeat!
Against German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg, the Styrian women had to concede a clear 1:6 defeat in the first leg.
The decision was already made in the first half: The favourites significantly increased the tempo and quickly took a 4:0 lead with goals from Peddemors (10th), Prasnikar (13th), Vallotto (31st) and Huth (37th).
Pulins scores the consolation goal
In the second half, Sturm still managed some damage control. Pulins scored shortly after the break (53rd).
In the final phase, however, the "She-Wolves" increased the tempo again: First, substitute Piljic scored (83rd), then Pattwein, who also came on, scored the 6:1 final result (86th).
The return leg in Graz will take place next Tuesday at 6:30 PM.
