LASK is ready for the new season, in which there are two titles to defend.
Austria's double winners celebrated a 2-0 test match victory over traditional German club Fortuna Düsseldorf (Match Report>>>) on Saturday, concluding a summer preparation that didn't quite go as planned in terms of results.
The match was entirely dedicated to the annual "Season Opening" of the "Athletiker", during which the 5,032 black and white fans present were able to get up close with their double winners.
Many autographs were also signed, not least by Dietmar Kühbauer. "It's a great story that so many people are here. Of course, it takes a toll on our hands, but we'll gladly accept that," said the championship-winning coach.
