Rapid Ultras after turn of events concerning "Fetzn": "Most difficult episode"

Ultras Rapid have issued a statement following the turn of events concerning the stolen "Fetzn".

On its website, Block West refers to it as "by far the most difficult episode in our group's history." The group had been "proverbially torn apart, both because of what happened and regarding the future."

The initial suspicion of having been the target of a planned attack was not confirmed. Instead, signs increasingly pointed towards a random act by criminal elements.

Ultras Rapid Express "Honest Respect" to Rivals

This assumption was supported by reports from numerous fan scenes in several European cities, who assured they were not involved. The Rapid scene expressed its gratitude: "For this proactive contact, we hereby want to thank the rivals concerned and express our honest respect to them."

However, Block West extends special thanks to the Ultras scene of Veneziamestre, "who, on site, literally turned everything upside down with us, firstly to locate the perpetrators and secondly to enable the successful recovery of the two banners."
