Transfer planning at Red Bull Salzburg is in full swing.

The "Bulls" have already presented several new signings this summer, but there is still expected to be significant movement on the departures front by the end of the transfer period in early September. Most recently, talent Valentin Sulzbacher left the club for the Netherlands (More info>>>).

However, at least six players are still expected to leave the club. Several players are currently no longer training with the first team, as reported by the "Salzburger Nachrichten".

Six Professionals Expected to Be Sold

Lucas Gourna-Douath, Aleksa Terzić, Zeteny Jano, and Mamady Diambou are still under contract with Red Bull Salzburg, but are no longer part of the squad and play no role in the sporting plans of new coach Danny Röhl.

In addition, Maurits Kjaergaard and Hendry Blank, who have been training with the team again since Wednesday, are also considered hot sales candidates.

Only in Kjaergaard's case can the club still envision a permanent return to the Bundesliga squad.

With the planned departures, the "Bulls" aim to generate additional transfer revenues in the millions. However, concrete offers that meet the expectations of all parties involved are not yet available.

Negotiations Proving Difficult

Negotiations are proving difficult for several of the sales candidates.

Gourna-Douath, once Salzburg's record signing, was reportedly on the radar of his former loan club Le Havre and Italian club Monza, among others. However, the Frenchman apparently sees his future with a more prominent club and is therefore waiting for more attractive options.

The situation is similar for Diambou. Although a club from Poland showed interest in the midfielder, no concrete talks materialized.

The player's side is said to have made it clear that a move would only be considered for a club from a top league.

Transfers Possible Until September

Currently, there are no offers for Terzić, Blank, and Kjaergaard that meet expectations either. However, this could change in the coming weeks: after the end of the World Cup, the transfer business in most leagues is now really picking up pace.

The Salzburg club therefore still has ample time until the transfer deadline in early September to finalize further departures.
