Salzburg receives improved offer from Hoffenheim
Austrian sporting director Andreas Schicker improves the initial offer; the Salzburg player is now apparently a priority.
In recent weeks, initial rumors had emerged. TSG sporting director Andreas Schicker is reportedly interested in a Hoffenheim transfer for Salzburg's Adam Daghim (20).
For a long time, Leo Sauer (20) from Feyenoord Rotterdam was considered the hotter option for the attacking position. However, as reported by "Voetbal International", VfB Stuttgart has now won the race for the Slovakian.
TSG improves offer
The TSG, however, has now improved its offer for Daghim, according to "Sky" reporter Dennis Bayer. The new bid is over ten million euros, but an agreement with Salzburg is still pending.
An agreement for a contract with Daghim until 2031 is already in place. The Danish A-international still has a contract with Salzburg until 2028; he spent the past season on loan with Bundesliga relegated side VfL Wolfsburg. His market value is 7.5 million euros.
Daghim moved from Aarhus GF to Salzburg in 2023 for three million euros, making 57 appearances for the club. The Wolfsburg loan already brought Salzburg a two-million-euro fee. A profitable deal can be expected on the Salzach.
