LASK squanders lead against Hartberg: "It's our own fault"

Third game, third time in a row no win for LASK! Despite leading three times, LASK could not manage more than a 3-3 draw against TSV Hartberg (to the match report>>>).

After a 2-0 lead at halftime and a renewed 3-1 advantage in the second half, the double winner seemed to be on course for victory for a long time. In the end, however, the Linz side had to settle for one point. Captain Sascha Horvath and Andres Andrade primarily attribute the reasons for this to their own team.

Horvath: "It's our own fault"

"It's simply our own fault," Horvath said after the game on "Sky". LASK had actually been playing well with the lead, but brought themselves into difficulties through their own mistakes.

Especially defensively, the team had been too far from their opponents. "We are simply always too far away from our opponents," explains the captain. This allowed Hartberg to repeatedly get the opportunity to turn around and become dangerous.

The mistakes this time were too simple and were punished accordingly by the opponent. Horvath now wants to analyze the match during the three-week international break: "We have enough time to get this right again."
