Hartberg Shows Character: "There's Life in This Team"

Fabian Wilfinger also saw the goal immediately after the restart as a decisive moment. Hartberg had too little possession in the first half and couldn't hold onto the balls properly.

At halftime, they discussed how they wanted to do better in the second half and make it as difficult as possible for the opponent. The quick goal helped with that.

"I think the team really came back to life again," Wilfinger said.

Wilfinger, who has played in many different positions this season and was deployed as a right-back against LASK, also emphasized his versatility. He can play tactically in several positions. On the wing, he still has to get used to the additional running, but overall, it was "pretty okay".

Coach Markus Schopp was proud of his team after the comeback. He said the game was emotional and the goals came at the right time.

"I think everyone saw today that it was a totally emotional game," Schopp said. He particularly highlighted the reaction after going 0-2 down: "I am incredibly proud of the team today, because coming back from 2-0 down against LASK is not something you can take for granted."

The substitutes also made Schopp rave. Radulovic scored with his first touch for his new club and also provided an assist shortly after. Drew also brought crucial impulses.

Radulovic with Dream Debut

Rapid loanee Radulovic celebrated a debut that a player could hardly wish for better. Schopp particularly emphasized the Serb's quality in finishing.

"He is a player who will give us incredible quality in the final third," said the Hartberg coach. Radulovic can finish with both his left and right foot and showed the quality he possesses with his two goals.

According to Schopp, once he gets to know the team and the processes better, Hartberg will have "much more joy" with him.

In the end, the East Styrians earned a point which, unlike last week, felt like a win after the first half's course of play, demonstrating how differently a draw can feel.
